Sadie’s book dress

I got the right color of thread! woohoo! Hey, that was quite the feat for a gal 2 days from her due date. Hitting up the fabric store with two slightly rambunctious young girls is a feat worth receiving a medal for. Am I right? (I am)

Anyways-this being the third time I’ve sewn up this pattern (yes I’m slightly obsessed with it!), it came together really quickly! I almost didn’t need the instructions. (just in a few parts to refresh my memory)

The best part is that Sadie loves it. I’m getting better at letting her choose the fabric she wants….from a careful selection already chosen by yours truly. (what? I’m only human) She calls this her book dress-don’t you love all the cute book spines on this fabric? The colors are amazing too. The fabric is called Books by David Textiles.

Lil’ Miss Attitude!

I’m getting better at the back. Finally.
