Silhouettes are so totally hip nowadays. (confession: I had to google how to spell silhouette….dur.) My Grandma Lance had them first though! lol. So, I’ve seen this silhouette ornament idea on a few blogs, and wanted to share it cause it’s so cool! I made one last night…out of cardboard, but hey-it works. My mini glue gun is my friend. Except when it burns me. I really like the idea of making these every year for Sadie and the rest of our future offspring. It’s a fun cool way to see how they (are going to) grow! So here’s the first one. Ding! Round one. There’s my little baldie!
I made these two silhouettes of me and Rory a few months ago, using this tutorial. Real quick and idiot proof. I didn’t even print off the picture, I just traced it off my computer screen. Is that bad?
So totally cute. I just might try it! Way to go!
I’ve seen this idea before. So fun! I love your idea of doing one every year. I might have to consider it… 🙂
