vintage valentine wreath

I bought a bunch of these vintage valentines on Etsy and Ebay for my vintage themed valentines day party this year-but I was having the hardest time figuring out how to display them! First I started with a simple garland, with the valentines layered on top of doilies, then took that apart and did a garland with just the valentines….then took that apart and hemmed and hawed at it while I watched a few episodes of New Girl. (love that show!)

Finally I grabbed a styrofoam wreath, wrapped it with torn strips of fabric, and attached some twine and clipped my favorites on! I may or may not have clapped my hands with glee when I finally came to a decision. #mocraftsmoproblems

I added a big white and mustard felt flower to add some more color, and simply pinned it to the styrofoam, in case I want to change it up in the future.

I so wish Valentines still looked like this! Aren’t they the cutest? I can’t get enough of them…they may become my newest collection/obsession!

Are you making any last minute Valentines day decorations this year?
