First things first…I’m off to Utah this morning with Charlotte in tow-wish me luck on the flight with her! I keep telling myself: At least it’s only 2 hours long….I’m on a whirlwind trip to visit my two siblings that live there and of course, their fabulous spouses, and cousins, and friends, and fabric shops… 😉 Of course. and Hobby Lobby! I am soo excited, since we don’t have one here. Anywho, wish me luck, and if you’re a Utahn and happen to see me piling tons of stuff in my cart at Hobby Lobby, well, that shouldn’t surprise you now. hehe.
Ok, onto the post!
I made another Anna dress so you could see it in a patterned fabric.
Yup, totally ALL for you guys. Oh, the things I do for you!
It reminded me of a 50’s housewife dress, so I bribed got Sadie to pose playing in her play kitchen for me!
And oh my, the fabric….swoon! I grabbed this fabric from my local Joann’s! Can you believe it? I adore the print and knew I had to make something right away with it! It’s from DS (Denyse Schmidt) Quilting Collection. I grabbed some of this print and another one but they didn’t have much else from the line at my Joann’s. 🙁
This little girl is always in motion. I have about a Bajeeellion of these kinds of pics.
Another gratuitous fabric shot…gorg!
OK ok…another one! (what, are you complaining?) Look at the cute buttons then!
I did the sleeves differently then my light blue Anna dress-they’re just regular sleeves. no gathers.
I guess that’s it! These two dresses are Sadie’s favorites-she rotates through them pretty regularly. 😉
So cute, I love that fabric too!! Can’t wait to make one of these!
Which part of Utah you coming to?
I love the 2 fabrics you used and the coordinating buttons, this is SO adorable!
Oh, I love it! The contrast band and buttons were the perfect touch.
That is GREAT fabric! Yes, where in Utah are you going? Have a great trip!

Love this version, too, Jess. The contrast fabric goes perfectly with that adorable print. Have a great trip 🙂

I chanced upon your blog after seeing one of your tutorial printed out in my office printer and I’ve been hooked ever since 🙂
I hope I can try your sew-along soon, but I’m also wondering how you managed to find time to sew and also have the 2 girls with you! I only have one and have hardly any time to decide which fabric goes with what!
