I have been so excited to show you the stockings I made for us! I told myself I would make them before Christmas this year….last year. So, I made my deadline, but barely. Oh well! Without further ado…our stockings!
I used Anna’s tutorial-and love how they turned out! I did cut my accent piece of fabric 1.25″ instead of 2 and adjusted it as needed. That’s the only change. I chose a simple font to embroider the names-Castorgate.
I just love the fabrics…
Home Dec fabric from Joann’s…sorry don’t have the selvage anymore!

I LOOVE the ribbon I picked out-some candy cane striped grosgrain. Purchased here.
I am still trying to figure out my Christmas decorating style. These stockings are a step in the right direction…wish me luck!
LOVE! Especially the button/ribbon loop! They are adorable!!
Those are beautiful! I like the ribbon and button detail too!
I LOVE them!! They are beautiful. The fabrics are perfect.
Beautiful!
Oh my heavens I adore them!!!!
I love anything Michael Miller, but your combos are sublime!!
These look fantastic. Great job with the lettering.
so super cute!!! you did an amazing job….can’t wait to see the rest of the decor!
jess!!! these are so so cool! I love the fabrics you picked and the embroidery is just PERFECT! don’t even get me started on christmas decorating style, I’m so terrible at seasonal decorating. 🙁
Those are A-DORE-A-BLE!! LOVE them!!
These are gorgeous (just like all of your other projects)! Your blog truly is an inspiration. I think I might have to tackle some of these myself :). Any tips on the embroidery? Yours looks fantastic.
So cute!!! Love your fabric choices 🙂 Fun & modern.. but still traditional red & green! Cute!
The stockings are AWESOME. Well done, now for stuffing them!
I absolutely love those! Fabric choices and everything. I want an exact set with our names on them, but seriously no time to make them. I’ll be lucky if I get one of the Christmas crafts done this year that I also promised myself last year I would have done this time. Oy.
I’m in the process of figuring out my Christmas decorating style too. I have a feeling I’ll be making and re-making a lot through the years. I was planning on making these stockings from Anna’s tutorial this weekend. Yours look great!
Love these! I have 3 stockings for my kids and I want matching ones for hubby and I, and future kids but can’t find them since I bought them 2 years ago. I wish I could sew so I could make some for us and make matching ones in the future if needed.
So very cute!! You did great with the names! They look perfect!
These are great! We don’t have stockings yet and Anna’s pattern is on the top of my list after I finish making Christmas presents for my sister in law, sisters, and dad. 🙂 (I have actually finished four other gifts, which is pretty good for me)
they are really cute! I ust bought all the stuff I need to make ours, isn’t great to make your own stockings??? You can pick the colors, theme, etc. I just love it!!!!!
I LOOOOOOOVE these!!! They are so pretty! I can’t stop looking at them! I want to make some but probably not until our little family grows a little more! Or maybe i’ll pay you to make us some! hee hee Anyway, I just love them! Good job!!
LOVE them. I can’t wait to see the rest of your decor. We have had our decorations since getting married and I am hoping to revamp this year…haha…probably not though.
Those are beautiful! Great fabric choices.
So cute! These turned out great. Now you just better remind Santa to fill yours! 🙂 My Santa often forgets!
They look great! I would love to make stockings to hang up but we have no space in our tiny place to hang them. We have santa sacks this year. Hopefully next year we will have a house and a nice spot to hang our stockings.
These are so wonderful! I really love your fabric choices and I just love how they coordinate, but aren’t quite matchy-matchy. Super awesome.
love the hanging loopy things(ok im not a sewer oh well hehe) they are way cute
Oh my goodness, these are just wonderful! I will pay for you to make one for me and Jeff…seriously. If you’re up for it, please email me! I would LOVE to have some beautiful Jessica stockings in my house…with our names on them of course!

Absolutely gorgeous, Jess! The fabrics are to die for. Love them! And the button detail is just too cute. Nice work!
I’m linking this up to a stocking roundup! Come check it out! http://nap-timecreations.blogspot.com/
SO how did you embroider using that font? I love it!! ADVICE? PLEASE?????
I have the very same question as Jeannie above–I too found a font I would love to use, but when I print the name I want to embroider, how do I transfer it from paper to the fabric I want to embroider?
