tee shirts to dress refashion

I made this dress months ago, but somehow never took any pictures of it. I found some cute printed tees at my thrift store, so I cut off the bottom of a white tee, cut strips of the tee shirts, gathered them if needed, and sewed them into a quick dress. I used the existing hem of a tee for the bottom so it was a really easy refashion! Comfy and cool for summer too.

Check out how long Sadie's hair is getting! I keep debating on whether it needs a trim or not. Sometimes it gets a bit scraggly.

Anyway, just a quick and easy dress/refashion. Enjoy!

Very cute! I should do something like this for my daughter - she needs clothes this summer which is a first. She's always had enough hand-me-downs and gifts that I really don't *need* to sew for her. Now that it's a need it's somehow more fun to sew for her. :)

I love the combination of prints. I can't believe you were able to get such a great combination at a thrift shop! I made one of these for each of my daughters a few months back (with tank tops on top), and they love them. As for Sadie's hair... my 4 year old has never ever had a haircut. I say leave it for now :)

i can't believe you were able to find three cute coordinating shirts! well done.

i feel the same way about Sutton's hair. It has gotten very long and stringy. I have cut is short before and it is SO cute but makes it impossible to braid or pull back.

Girl, your daughter is ending up all over my Pinterest "I Want to Make This Page." Not that I want to make your daughter - just the stuff she wears! :P
