red and teal jumper-KCWC

I guess I would feel like a bad mom if I only sewed Sadie things for KCWC...in my defense, Charlotte has a lot of hand me downs from Sadie...but still, she deserves some new things to call her own!

If anything, so that when she looks at the pictures from when she was little (aka this blog), she will know I meant well. Here's the proof, older Charlotte who is reading my blog!

(plus, I've been notified by a few readers that they would like more cheek action from Charlotte on the blog, so here you go!)

Hence this little jumper! I used a pattern that I've used before, New Look 6576, and it is a great, basic jumper pattern. Comes together really easily. It's a bit big on her, but that's ok. She still rocks it.

I covered some buttons with some red polka dot fabric, and I think it coordinates nicely. I just love this print! It's from the GeneVieve line from Henry Glass fabrics, in Aqua/Red checker, and I got it from my fabulous sponsor, Ribbon Retreat!

You probably can't tell, but I added some pintucks on the front piece, I should have done this on a solid or less bold print, but oh well. Ya live and learn. It was fun to try, and it looks cute close up!

You can kinda see it here. I'll really have to try it again, cause it's reeeeally cute.

I got the inspiration from this pic in the KCWC flickr pool. Awesome stuff popping up in there! I am loving it!

I LOVE the polka dot buttons. In my perfect world red and white polka dots would go with everything. Thanks for the cheeks :)

I love the radiating pintucks! I have no idea how to alter a pattern to add them, but I'm determined to learn after seeing those. Although I am less cute than your average toddler...
