thrifty finds

My mom, sister, the girls, and I hit the 50% off sale yesterday at the Salvation Army-I didn’t find a ton, mostly because the line was 45 min long. NO joke. I’ve never seen it that bad.
But I got a few finds-like these fun patterns to use for fabric/refashions. Love that sweet polka dot and the floral.
These are what I was really excited about. I got these three platters: 60¢ for the oval, and 80¢ for the round ones. Can you guess what I’m going to use them for?
Hint: not for serving food. Any guesses?
Oh, and my total was around $7 I’m guessing-my mom paid because I had it in the car the whole time thought I had forgotten my wallet at home.
and this little munchkin wasn’t a thrifty find, but was too cute not to share. She thought this bowl on her head was the funniest thing ever! That dimple gets me every time! and see her teeth? She’s growing up way too fast!

She’s already 8 1/2 months old! Time to start planning her birthday party. You think I’m kidding? ;)

  1. she is SO CUTE. Um, you’re a little late on starting to plan that party, don’t you think? ;) hehe. I’m maybe floating ideas around for Olivia. I mean, she’s three and a half months old, she’s not getting any younger! Guess what… she totally popped out those same two bottom teeth in the last week. I AM NOT EVEN JOKING. I had forgotten how sharp those little teeth come out! Sorry for the run-on paragraph… Nicole did something to my computer. My enter key is not currently functioning. lol.

  2. Great finds! I love seeing what people get at the Thrift store :)

Oh, and awesome thrift store finds. Old sheets are my favorite find lately. And I have no idea what you’re going to use those wooden things for. Frames?

  9. Ooo great finds! I need to hit up the Salvation Army or Goodwill. I still have not gone! I bet I could find a bunch of stuff I could use. And your little one is just adorable. I just want to squeeze her cheeks! They DO grow up too fast :( Gotta soak ‘em up while they’re still totally dependent on us! Thanks for the follow :D
