my adult-inspired knock off

I said I’d still do my ideas for Project Run and Play, and I always keep my word!

Unless it pertains to not eating the rest of the chocolate cake or something…a girl’s gotta have her chocolate.

ANY ways….I chose this green and teal dress from Anthropologie. (of course)

I found this perfect fabric, from Michael Miller called Ta Dot Lagoon. I got it from my sponsor, Scarlet Poppe.

I love how it turned out! I added some cap sleeves for modesty and (a little) warmth.

I do wish I had placed the buttons a little closer together on the front, but what’s done is done. I already got to know my new seam ripper a little too well during this project.

I just love this “pose”. hehe. As you can see, it closes in the back just like the Sadie shirt. In fact, it’s pretty similar, at least around the neckline.

Sadie likes it, and that’s what matters!
She can also throw up a mean disco arm.

Go here for the tutorial!
