sadie's christmas dress

First off, I would like to apologize in advance for force-feeding you so many pictures of Sadie in her Christmas dress. But hey-my blog, my pics. Muwahaha. ha. Anyways!

Presenting: Sadie's Christmas dress.

I love this shot. I call it the forlorn pose. Or, maybe the gonna-fall-down-cause-it's-windy pose.

I just love the fabric. It's by Momo for Moda-It's a Hoot. It reminded me of Christmas trees, but in a fresh and modern way. And I'm thinking they can wear these for awhile after Christmas too.

I made the pattern for the dress myself too. woot!

Do you like our photo shoot site? Aka...stepped out the front door.

You can't tell cause of the bow, but there's some pleating at the square neckline. Love how that came out...though it's covered. er..oh well!

Did I mention I made the pattern for this dress? Oh, I did? Ok, I'll shut up about it.

I'm just giddy. and a dork. but hey, I'm ok with that.
I'll post about Charlotte's dress another day...I decided they need posts of their own. Yes, hers is that cute. ;) Also it doesn't have a zipper yet.

p.s. sorry, no tutorial as of yet! Perhaps in the future!

Totally adorable! And, I agree, it is definitely wearable after Christmas - it can be wonderful for St. Pat's too.

Oh MY GOSH! Those dresses are precious! You did an amazing job on them. I love that you used a non traditional Christmas green pattern in the material. It's really unique and beautiful. I do have to say your models really do add to their beauty. Such sweet little ones!

Happy Holidays

I've been browsing through your archives and love this fabric. It reminds me of the curtain dresses from Sound of Music. I love it!
