christmasy table runner

Hey you guys! I wanted to say thanks for all the nice comments this week-I haven’t been as good at responding to comments lately, sorry about that. A particular little miss hasn’t been sleeping too well…but it’s getting better so yay.

Just wanted to share with you this simple table runner I made for our coffee table. It needed some Christmas cheer, and it was the perfect project to finish up at our monthly craft night. Is there anything better than chatting AND crafting it up at the same time? Not much. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I made some yummy homemade peppermint oreos to munch on, they were sooo good and are long gone. Recipe tomorrow!

Now that I’m looking at it…the runner is a bit wonky-but that’s what gives it character. right? right?…..

Sadie helped me by adding the little reindeer and wearing one of Charlotte’s dresses. nerd. Well-it adds a little something something to the pics, I think. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I got the two reindeer at Old Navy a few years back-they’re actually dog toys. Who would let their dogs rip apart those cute stuffies? Not I! (plus, I don’t have a dog)

How are you all today? Getting all your holiday shopping done? wrapping? baking? So much to do, so little time!

  9. Very cute table runner. You always amaze me at the things you make. I just made one for our coffee table too. It was looking very bare. I will post pictures of it next week sometime. Tomorrow I’m posting about the tree skirt I made. After 41/2 years of not having one I finally made one!

  10. SO CUTE!!! I think I’ll try that! I need to get some super cute fabric first! My kitchen table is so sad! Nothing on it! Now that I am back to work, I don’t have much time to make Christmas crafties! Although, i AM almost done with my advent calendar! I’ll have to send you a pic when its done! Anyway, I LOVE the table runner and hope to make one….someday! haha Love ya!

  11. 1. I love this little table runner.
    2. I love those little reindeer. I was a little sad to hear that you weren’t about to bust out a pattern for them. ๐Ÿ™‚
    3. Olivia only took one nap today. She usually takes three. So it probably doesn’t quite compare to the lack of sleep you’re experiencing with a much littler little one, but, man, I totally know how you feel.
