...obviously we (me, I) started painting!

most of the painting is done! woo hoo! just the oven left. we're painting it silver. can i just say, i adore the stripes? i actually hopped up and down with excitement after pulling the tape off. ha ha. i should have taken pictures of that, and the handy little trick that helps you get perfect stripes. darn! i will try to show you anyways, when i paint the oven, maybe. later.

the paint colors were mainly determined by what we had left from painting our house. hehe. hence, the stripes are sadie's room color, and the fridge is our kitchen and living room color. the white was our trim and ceiling color.

can't beat free fifty free! (yuk yuk, sorry)

then there are all the little things that need to be done, re-attaching the doors, plexiglas, knobs, handles, window, etc. then, stocking it with all her goodies! which, are wrapped and under the tree, so we will have to wait for christmas for the action photos! :D

the good news is, i've finished another big present, and am ALMOST done with a whole slew of presents i've been working on. so that's a relief. i freaked out yesterday, realizing there was only a week left.

then rory had the nerve to say,"well maybe you should have started working on them sooner".

i calmly did NOT throw my paint roller at him, took deep breaths, ignored him, and kept painting.
