some new stuff

i made these outfits for sadie today...i love the material on this one...and that trim on the bottom of the skirt. I got the skirt fabric from a friend, and the brown and teal fabrics were remnants, at $1.50 per piece. I had the trim already, so this outfit came out to be oh so cheap! love that.

this dress was so easy i almost feel like i can't claim i sewed it. lol! i used this tutorial as a guideline. this shirt i got ages ago at Target on the clearance rack for $1.50. again, awesome price! I made both fabric flowers from this tutorial, and the center of this one is a covered button with matching fabric.

i love getting into this repurposing trend. it's fun to see what old clothes I have laying around that i can cut up and make something new for sadie out of!
