stamping up some tees

I’ve been a stampin’ fool lately, guys! I do not know how it took me so long to do this….I’ve stamped fabric before, but carving your own stamps opens up a whole new world of creativity and options! (cue: Aladdin…..)  Suffice it to say, I am having way too much fun. Count on a little how to post for carving stamps, soon! Until then…here’s what I stamped and sewed up for my biggest and littlest.

I’m not sure what’s going on in the photo above, but it was so….Sadie…that I had to post it. That girl!

Anyways, so I stamped some dark grey triangles onto some peach knit (from Girl Charlee), and used that for the yoke and sleeve cuffs. I love how this turned out! I think she’s a fan, too!

My little Avie girl got a top of her own, too! Carved and stamped some little bows all over some cream knit (again, from Girl Charlee…dude, love their knits), then sewed it up-it’s a little loose, but that was on purpose! I wouldn’t want my hard work to be grown out of in a month!

Ok, just go with the number of Ava photos here….indulge me. I think she’s kinda cute. 😉

  5. I am in love with those bows! I’ve been carving stamps for a while and love that you can do just about anything with it. But I will say I struggle with stamping on fabric. Any tips to not get a gloopy mess? Do you paint the fabric paint onto the stamp and then stamp it?
    Thanks!!

I also love the pictures of your cuties (I think Ava looks just like Charlotte). I have only boys, so I appreciate the doses of girly cuteness you provide us with. LOL!
