I’ve been bitten by the miniatures bug! It’s official. I have pretty much finished up the dollhouse reno-just need to write the posts!

Still, I was chomping at the bit for a new project. Sooo…I decided to miniature-ize real life rooms that I find online! First up is this beautiful entry way designed by Anne Sage for West Elm

See their pic below!

I think I got pretty close! What do you think? What’s your favorite element?

I think mine might be this mini lamp that I macgyvered out of a dollhouse metal bowl, wire, perler beads, part of a jewelry finding, and half a wooden bead. LOL

I also love Mr Turtle down there and mini globe I made in literally 2 minutes.

The table is non working (the drawers don’t pull out), and I learned a lot while making it! Some of my kids wooden blocks were the foundation for it, lol!

Also this rug was super fun to make! Lots of stitching but totally like making a quilt!

The snake plant I made from some leaves off of a faux plant from Michaels that I painted and then stuck into some foam inside a…DRY shampoo lid. hehe. I made the stand out of some dowels and basswood. The other plant stand was made with wire, wood, and some clay and felt for the pot and plant.
