olivia pattern tour: the red kitchen

olivia top by the red kitchen bodice detail 700

My guest today is a very special blog friend. We’ve been friends since the wee little days of both of our blogs, and she was the very first bloggy friend I met in real life! Katie from The Red Kitchen, is such a sweet gal, a fantastic seamstress, and even has her own sewing book (affiliate link) coming out soon! (you can pre-order your little hearts out!) woot woot! I adore her Olivia top she made for her own little…Olivia! hehe. I amuse easily. Anyways, I don’t know about you, but I am curious about that awesome bias tape! see more on her blog and enter to win a copy of the pattern!

  1. Every time you post a photo from your tour, I think, “That’s my favorite!” But I think this time it really is my favorite! Super perfect!

  2. Stunning!

I tried leaving a comment on the Coats & Clarks website where I found your Barbie patterns but not sure it worked and I really wanted to make sure I thanked you for the cap sleeve top and easy skirt patterns. I found them Friday and spent the weekend sewing! So easy and so fun! We made some tops with thinner straps and added rows of lace for that ruffled look that’s so popular. My girls are 8 & 10 and very happy to have clothes that fit ALL the Barbies. Its sad how the boughten ones are skimpy and barely close on some of the dolls. Thank you! Thank you for these patterns!!
