I wanted to make something to thank my friend Rachelle for the pictures she took of Ava, so I sewed up a fun case for her phone-I'm pretty sure she likes mustard yellow so hopefully it's a hit. (who doesn't like mustard yellow, right? if you don't...you are dead to me. just kidding. or am I...)
I used this great tutorial and pattern and whipped a couple up (since I was making one already, why not make two?). They took hardly any time, and it would be a great gift or stocking stuffer! I'm sure you could alter the pattern to work for other smart phones as well. I made mine out of pleather since it's what I had on hand, and it worked great.
I also made some quick and easy newborn headbands that she can hopefully use during her sessions. (speaking of which, she's running a fab sale right now if you're local!)
The white and blue felt flowers are made with this tutorial, and the others are simply layered felt flowers cut out with my Go Baby die cutter (the Rose of Sharon die). I did an ombre look with the pink and yellow-and love how it turned out!
