I scream, you scream…

So, I was in charge of hosting my Bunco group this past month, and I decided to go with an ice cream theme…you know me and a theme, right? We’re like peas in a pod. Two of a kind. Partners in crime. Peanut Butter and Jelly.

Anyways.

I dusted off my ice cream maker, looked up some recipes on Pinterest, and spent the week before whipping up four different kinds of yummy ice cream! If you click on the pictures below, they’ll link up with the recipes I used.

My favorite was definitely the vanilla custard, followed by the raspberry, chocolate, and honey peach.

I found these awesome pint size ice cream containers at a store called Smart & Final, and made the labels using PicMonkey (a great replacement for Picnik, btw).

I made some of this delish chocolate velvet sauce for each lady to take home-it’s soo easy! You make it in the blender and it whips up in no time and is inexpensive to make as well.

The prizes were ice cream themed of course-I found this cute aqua ice cream maker at Target, and these fun bowls at Pier 1. The other prize was a “just add ice cream” kit, with toppings and such. yum!

To answer some questions that were in the comments (cause apparently it won’t let me comment right now)

-My tablecloth is actually just some fabric-from the Flea Market Fancy line.

-The ice cream maker I have is a Cuisinart-nothing fancy but it does the job. I admit, I bought the one for the prize because it was a cute color…I have no idea if it’s good one, but the price was about the same as ours so I figured it couldn’t be too bad!

-I printed my labels on the large sticker sheets you can get almost anywhere-Avery 8165.
