Molly Jacket pattern review

I just love the Molly Jacket pattern from Violette Field Threads! They sent me their paper pattern to try-which means no printing and taping together, which is nice. Not that I mind PDF patterns at all, just a change of pace!  It's definitely a great pattern-it came together quickly and the collar is adorable, right? I left off the pockets, and used Dottie White on Peony by Moda, from my sponsor, the Fat Quarter Shop.

Sadie really loved it-and obviously she was in a goofy mood when we took pics.

I just realized that she doesn't have much that goes with it though...guess it's time for some new dresses!

This pattern has been on my etsy favorites page for a long time. I think I'll have to buckle and get it. I also think that as the seasons change, you'll find this coral color amps up all kinds of fall colors, too.

OMG! That's so cute! I love when she's in a goofy mood - she takes such awesome pictures then.

Great, now I have to go buy the pattern and make one for my daughter.

Oh it turned out nicely! Yes, the collar makes it for sure! Nice work. And I'm also impressed that she can cross her eyes.... a pretty big accomplishment! Crossing my eyes was like learning to blow a bubble with gum...I felt so very proud. ha.

The pink polka dot is adorable. Just made the jacket a few weeks ago and my daughter loves it and I love that it is reversible! Can't wait to see what dress ideas you come up with too.
