Have you guys heard about the Peek-a-Boo Pattern shop? I hadn't, before they contacted me to see if I wanted to review a pattern of theirs. Ya'll know I love reviewing patterns...plus they have a huge selection of really cute patterns to choose from. It was hard narrowing it down, but I've never made a romper (the horror!), so I chose their Retro Romper pattern for lil Miss C.
I decided to make her a size 2T, which was too big. But that's Charlotte's fault for being a shortie. Besides, it'll fit her longer, right?
I love the little details like the collar and piping. There's also cute bows on the bottom of the legs, but of course I didn't get any good pics of those. Sorry folks. I can only do so much. ;)
The pattern itself was very easy to print off and assemble....and it came together really quickly. Again, the only issue I had was with the fit, and I should have gone with an 18 mo size. Oh well! Hey, it might fit Sadie...she only weighs 5 lbs more than Charlotte....so besides that it was well explained and easy to figure out. Except the bottom cuffs, they took me a little bit of puzzling and then it worked out.
I love the sweet little elastic back. So cute!
The next pattern of theirs I am dying to try is the Sweetheart Halter top. Love it!

I really like the Ashley Knit Ruffle Dress. The buttons on the shoulder give that classic low-waist ruffle dress a modern feel and I know my daughter would appreciate the ease of fit over her head (especially when she has a ponytail). I can also see myself making the dress in non-knit fabric due to the ease of fit.
