Charlotte's Easter dress

I know I promised Sadie's quilt later this week, but it'll have to be next week, since I have Charlotte's Easter dress to show you today!

Yes, I did edit out her scar on her forehead-didn't want to distract. :)

The multiple buttons on the back were kind of a mistake-but kind of a fun one!

She had to pose with her baby doll! What a little momma. :)

I'll have the tutorial for you next week!

Charlotte is a little doll! Love the coordinating dresses.

So cute! You´ve chosen a wonderful pattern - it matches her hair beautifully.
But what about her little doll - so naked? It would be even more beautiful when the little baby gets her matching dress ;).
(But maybe your little princess is like mine - she always loves to make her little doll naked :) .)

Great job! Yesterday I started Easter dresses for my 4 girls and I am designing them as I go. Love your blog- definitely never would have attempted something so crazy as 4 dresses and no patterns had I not started reading great blogs like this! Thanks!!

Oh it is darling. So incredibly sweet. Vintage looking but timeless. She's adorable.

jess, she's turning into a real TODDLER! so grown up! I agree with enim, though - my first thought was that her baby doll needs an easter dress, too. ;)

Both of your dresses are so cute. I would never even guess you used a sheet. I think maybe the background of Sadie's pictures makes it look busy, because Charlotte's dress doesn't look busy at all. Your clothes make me wish I still had a little one to sew for.

The girls' dresses are lovely! I love the ruffle at the neck and the twirly skirt on Sadie's and the square neckline on Charlotte's! Very well done.

Beautiful - the dress and the little one :-) It is nice to hear even the great crafters like you make some mistakes - but I like the double buttons too. Thanks for sharing.

She looks so grown up already!! The dress is beautiful, as always! I can't wait for the tutorial! Thanks again for all of your hard work. As for Charlotte's scar...let it show. It is a part of her that isn't a distraction but something that shows she is still just a kid! Always into something!

This dress is so pretty! I love your thinking. And all my girls' dolls are naked, too. :)

That is gorgeous! The main fabric looks like it could be a vintage sheet, but I'll bet it's not. Just lovely!

I love her new Easter dress. It's almost as gorgeous as your baby girl. :-)

I love your blog and LOVE the dresses you make your girls, but I have a question for you :) How many dresses are too many? I have a little girl after 2 boys and I have sewn her so many pretty dresses and I always want to practise a new idea in her size to make sure it fits/works OK, but some of the dresses are too pretty for everyday use. Do your girls play dress up every day or do they save their lovely dresses for special occasions? I guess I'm really asking you to help me justify continuing to make dresses for my little one :)
