lucky dress supply list

Hey guys! Just a quick post about the Lucky Dress sew-along! I'm going to be posting the first two parts on Saturday, so look for those! Here's a supply list!

You'll need:

main fabric (1 yard did it for my 2.5 year old)
lining fabric (I used some muslin-1 yd)
contrast fabric (3/4 yd for me)
1 package single fold bias tape 1/2"
matching thread
paper for pattern (dress or shirt to trace)
buttons (metal ones to cover or regular)

Let me know if you have any questions!

Probably a silly question, but what size are the buttons you used? They look fairly big, so I wanted to make sure I got the right size. Very excited about this sew along!
Thanks,
Rachel

Would you mind sharing what fabric you used for main part of the dress? I have a friend who's getting married next month and she's using a damask almost exactly like that on her invitations. I have this vision of making a matching quilt :)

Yay! Another great dress! I loved the last one! One of these days I'll take a photo and upload it to the pool. :)
Is the white trim in the photo the bias tape? I was just wondering what color to get. If it's on the inside it won't really matter, but if it's the trim it would need to match.
Yay! I'm going to order my fabric right now!

Rachel-Sorry it took me a little while to answer-I somehow didn't see this comment til now-I used 3/4" buttons to cover. Hope this helps!

Audre-I used single fold bias tape 1/2" wide.
