I found this blue flowered corduroy skirt thrifting-and knew it would be perfect to refashion into a dress for the Sadester. Plus, it was like $1 or something...who can pass that up?
I basically chopped off some of the skirt down the side, sewed that up, made some straps and covered some buttons, made a few button holes, and sewed those all on. Total I think I spent about 1/2 hour on it.
It's long on her-but that's a good thing-it will (hopefully) last longer! She's a skinny thing but has had some growth spurts lately.
