tortilla chips

Since sewing, etc., is a little farther down the priority pole right now, I've been getting my crafty jollies by making more felt food! They're (usually) quick projects that I can start and stop easily.

Enter these adorable tortilla chips. (and bag!)

I cut strips of off-white felt 2 inches wide by however long the piece was, and then used my rotary cutter to cut triangles out of it...then sewed them together. The bag was super easy too, I used a piece of vinyl to make a little window. awww.

add some "cheese" and you have yourself some nachos! yum!

I'm hereby dubbing this week the unofficial felt food week! Check back for more yummy, fun food and a few tutorials!featured on One Pretty Thing!

okay that is SO CUTE! I have seen so much felt food and I want to give it a try but I have yet to do it. Do you use felt off the roll or those small pieces you can buy at like the dollar store or Micheals?

As a mother of 2 I also love the 'instant gratification' of felt food projects! LOVE the vinyl window - I look forward to seeing what else you have up your sleeve :)

Super adorable. And of course that sweet little vinyl window just totally makes my heart melt. So wonderful! :)

P.S. I definitely don't mean this as a rain-on-your-wonderful-felt-food-parade question, so I hope it doesn't come out that way, but do you have a hard time keeping track of felt food pieces? Or is that not a problem? I have no idea about things like this since my daughter is only 10 months old right now. Haha. Anyway, I'm totally curious about how you keep it all organized and keep pieces from getting lost.
