'nana

Sadie has a banana every morning for breakfast-so this felt food was sure to be a hit with her. Sure enough, she tried to eat it right away.

(cue me: Sadie...stop eating the felt, please.)

I made up the pattern, and i just love the peel, it's removable, of course. You gotta be able to peel your banana! I also just HAD to make some cute little banana slices. (that, and I was stuck with Charlotte sleeping on my lap during Sadie's nap with nothing but ivory felt within reach)

Sorry about the barrage of felt food lately. I've sewn a few things other than food, but haven't gotten any good pictures yet. It's much harder with two kids to do that, I'm finding out!

Loving the felt food. Very cute. I am having trouble finding a place that sells felt though. Silly I know, but I have looked and can't seem to find it. Any ideas on where I might look or a good place to order online?
Thanks
Lisa

Your barrage of felt food left Rayne looking for food to play with when we got home yesterday. When she told Chris that she wanted more play food he responded, "Yeah, mom needs to make you some, huh?" So thanks a lot, Jess. haha!

Bring on the felt food! I'm loving all the great ideas! Pretty soon that baby will be an independent 1 1/2 year old and you'll have plenty of time for crafting and pictures. :)

I get most of my wool felt at this website:

They have a great color selection and super fast shipping. I also get basic colors at Joann's. :D

So...I'm lame.

We want to come see you and sometimes I wish I could just come over and not worry about a childs schedule. We got home from the beach today at 6pm and had to get little man dinner and into bed....

Don't you wish that kids could just stay up and be self-reliant and then sleep through the night, so you wouldn't have to worry bout scheduling a child?

oh well.

I really do want to see you.
Maybe I'm just going to have to show up or something! But I'll text you first if I get the chance to come over!

I think you're great.

I have to say I have never had a desire to make felt food until I saw your banana. I think I may just have to make one. Hope it doesn't start a new obsession. I'm thinking it just might ;)
