gaining confidence...

...in sewing for myself, that is. it's not as hard or scary as i've thought. well, until i hit a road block, the two projects i've done lately have been successes. we'll see what happens when i get frustrated one day. i think i'll stick to simple stuff! like this button down shirt into a peasant shirt transformation.

i found this top at goodwill a loong time ago for a few dollars, and loved the print, but it was boxy and boring. (i am HORRIBLE at remembering to take before pictures, so just picture this as a button up collared shirt.)

i used this awesome tutorial to change it into what it is now, a fun, flowy (comfy!) top.

again, hard to take pictures of myself wearing clothes, but i couldn't wait for rory to come home, and sadie's asleep. (not that she'd be able to do anything anyways, haha)

so what do you think?
