we had ourselves a merry little Disneyland trip…

…I’ll keep it brief, but that’s where we were this past week-living it up in Disneyland. It was a much better trip than our October trip for various reasons:

*Charlotte is down to her one afternoon nap which made it easier!

*Sadie was in tip top shape (not slightly sick)

*It snowed every night! (well, foamed bubbles…but still. It was pretty magical)

*The lines were insanely short. We practically walked onto every ride.

*Um, I got recognized from my blog! It totally made my day week month, and now my not-so-secret-anymore wish has been fulfilled! lol. Hi Tara, it was lovely to meet you! Oh, and be glad you left the line for Peter Pan, it was not a short wait. ๐Ÿ˜‰

*We had our own celebrity sighting-Curtis Stone, the chef. He walked right past us while we were sitting in front of the castle. Then we spotted him again while he was getting coffee, and we totally sneakily took pictures of him on Rory’s cell phone. Yes, I am aware we are gigantic stalkerish nerds. (and no, the pictures didn’t turn out…frowny face)

*We slept soo much. What else do you do when the kids go to bed at 8 and you are sharing a room? sleep. glorious sleep!

*We chatted up a park employee for the inside celebrity scoop, and she said that Adam Sandler goes all the time, Jessica Alba was just there the other day, and Ryan Gosling comes by himself a lot. lol that last one made me laugh…she also said the female employees love when he comes! haha.

*We loved all the Christmasy things that go on this time of year-the snow, the fabulous parade, the castle all decked out in snow and lights, the fireworks show, the characters all dressed in their Christmasy clothes-it was the perfect kick off to the holiday season!

  6. So jealous! I have been wanting to get back to Disneyland since 97′, pathetic I know. I have only been there once (I was 11) and it was for Christmas. It truly is beautiful with all the decorations and Christmas costumes! Do your kids have a great time even though they are so young? Our girls are 2 and 5 months, just wondering when is the soonest I can get there, haha.
