fabric weights get a makeover.

Remember the weights I just made? Well, Sacha from Piccoli Piselli left a link in the comments to her blog where she wrapped her weights in ribbon. They are gorgeous and I immediately said to myself,”Why didn’t I think of that? I’m going to do that right away!” So here you are!

Much cuter huh? I love her use of washers as well! I’m going to have to pick up some more-you can always use more weights-and I love the colorful-ness (that’s a word) of the different ribbons!

One more pic, for fun!

And one more thing….make sure to stop by tomorrow-the first week’s outfits on Project Run and Play will be up! I can’t wait to show you what I worked on…I’m excited to see everyone else’s projects too!

  1. They turned out great! The super large washers are from OSH (for the Californians reading this). They also have some really cool square washers that I bought, but I haven’t tried to wrap them yet. I had a hard time finding large washers at big box supply stores.

  2. Ooo, I really like these. I liked your other weights, too, but these are super snazzy:)

  3. They look so cute! And such a great idea too. I need to get to a hardware store near me to find washers or nuts to make these.

  4. Very clever!

I finally got my pattern weights done and they are awesome. I am so glad I found this, pinning is the worst and this solves many projects that were on the back burner.
