Gasp, a boy project! I had so much fun making this little quilt for a friend's son. She requested airplane fabric, so I searched around and found this on Etsy. I just love the vintage vibe, and little labels for all the different airplanes! If we ever have a boy, I want to make him something out of this fabric. Hmm should have bought extra. ( It looks like she's out)
I backed it in some green cross hatch fabric from the Early Bird line by Cosmo Cricket, and added a (oops, slightly crooked) monogram from some Amy Butler dot fabric. (it adds to the handmade charm, right?)
My favorite little detail is how I quilted it-with little clouds! You can see the planes a bit closer in this picture too, they are so cute!

love love love it! My son would be SOOOO happy to have something made out of this fabric. He loves real airplanes (specifically wwII airplanes - he is 8) and these are perfect and not too babyish. was there any info on the fabric about who made it??
