Fashionable Fabrics giveaway!

***This giveaway is now closed***

Have I got a great giveaway for you today! Like, wish I could enter-good.  Have you heard of Fashionable Fabrics yet? They have tons of fabric in their shop (like, pages and pages), patterns, and sewing notions! (not to mention, a fabulous sale section..!)

Not only do they have a large selection of fabrics and supplies, they are offering flat rate shipping (for US orders) of $4.95! For any size order! (so go ahead and order all that fabric for that quilt you want to make, or the giant MC hammer pants...you know one of you wants to...)

So I thought I'd pick out some of my favorite fabrics to get you salivating.

This would make a gorgeous little girl's dress.

This would be so cute for a small purse or bag.

Wouldn't this make a cute top? (for me. I'm not sharing this cute print.)

This one kind of makes me want to live in the country and raise chickens...or just make an apron.

I just like this leafy design. Who doesn't like leaves?

Griffith Leaf Red by Alexander Henry

I love the bright flowers and leaves in this one. (see? Leaves again.)

High Society Hannah for Anthology Fabrics

and hey lookey loo at what I found! The mysterious (to me) fabric for the Boden knock off I did! Sweet. mystery solved.

Miss Modd Bouquet by Chelsea Andersen

Wouldn't this be cool used in a sewing room-maybe to cover a bulletin board or make an ironing board cover?

Nice Threads by Alexander Henry Fabrics

Love these scallops!

Prince Charming Snail Scallop in aqua by Tula Pink

I have this same fabric sitting in my stash waiting for the perfect project. Again, scallops. Love scallops!

Sweet Broderie Daisy Meadow Stripe by Lecien Fabrics

So. Onto the good stuff, aka what you get outta this giveaway!

Fashionable Fabrics is giving away 2 gift certificates to their site for $25 each! Yay for free fabric!

How to enter: (two chances!)

1. Go poke around their site, drool a bit, then come back here and leave a comment mentioning at least one of the fabrics you might pick if you win! (PUH-lease leave your email address with each entry, mkay?)

2. Head over to their Facebook page and hit the little "like" button, then come back here and let me know that you did that. (don't forget your e-mail address)

I'll pick a winner Sunday, July 10th, using Random.org.

Good luck!

And...the winners are....

Jenny, and Michelle!

Upon opening the Fashionable Fabrics website, what catches my eye but their featured fabric ~ Gypsy Bandana Paisley Pink. How appropriate for me! Love it. They must have known I was coming. A winning g.c. might very well be used up in their remnant and/or sale sections, though. It's how I shop in person too. But that Prince Charming line has been calling to me for a while. This might be my excuse to finally gather some.

I live in Charleston, SC, had a baby boy 9 months ago & now stay home. I used to work in Interior Design, HAD to be creative everyday & have had my share of looking through fabrics!!! This line of fabrics is DELICIOUSLY CUTE! I haven’t seen such good looking fabrics since I was in the work place! In Charleston we have TWO fabric stores... Hancock Fabric (which is fairly small & unorganized store... drives me crazy!) and Sew n' Sew (a "hole in the wall" shop... small, but has a better selection than even Hancock). I couldn’t name just one fabric from Fashionable Fabric’s selection...I surely will find projects to make these “fashionable fabrics”... well, fashionable! Maybe something for my 9 month old, or gifts for girl friends, birthdays & baby showers & maybe... just maybe... I can make something for myself! I love your blog, Jess, and would love to give these fabrics a try on one of your patterns/projects (yes, maybe even a little girl’s dress... there’s always hoping for the future! Our little boy is PRECIOUS, but limited on what to sew for him!) Anyways... I've found SO many fabrics I like; I have to list my favorites (not in any particular order)...

Happier Birds by:Riley Blake Designs
Aviary 2 Scrollwork in Granite by: Joel Dewberry
Kenyan Tea Leaf in red by: Alexander Henry Fabrics
Impressions Kimono in Chartruese by: Ty Pennington
Coquette Scrolling Lattice in Green by: Carina Garner
Urban Zoologie Owls in Bermuda by: Ann Kelle
Good Life Bird Gages in Garden by: Wooster & Prince
Wild World on the Road in cornflower by: Jenean Morrison
Groovy Guitar by: Michael Miller Fabrics
Impressions Foliage in Chartreuse by: Ty Pennington
Heath in Chocolate by: Alexander Henry
Tree Huggers Trunks in orange by: Studio E Fabrics
Haven's Edge Birdcage Quiet in by: Tina Givens
Leanika Scroll in Pink by: Dena Designs
Pop Garden Zag Stripe in peach
Farmers Market Pomegranate Seeds- Spring
Farmers Market Geometric - Spring

*Thank you! I’d love to chance to still be able to be creative at home!

Kindly,

I always get so overwhelmed with fabric shopping online, so many choices, can't touch it and look up close... aagh! But I love Riley Blake fabrics, and so would probably go with something from there, like the Sugar and Spice Sugar Main in Blue... so cute. Thanks for the chance to not have to buy my own expensive fabric! :)
