Sadie really likes ladybugs, so this fabric was perfect for her. (and like $2 a yard at Joann’s) I’ve been saving it for just the right top, and I’ve also been saving this tutorial from Prudent Baby….so I finally put one and one together and made….this!
I’m no newcomer to peasant tops, but I loove the cinched in waist, so I had to try it. It’s so easy, too!

  1. Just adorable! I am using that same ladybug fabric right now for one the rings in Heather Bailey’s Happy Stacker Ring Toy!!! –

  2. Adoreable! I need to get more brave and try some of these!

  3. You are the peasant top queen. (And I definitely mean that as a compliment.) And Sadie looks adorable in them. Perhaps one of these days I’ll have to give it a try. :)

  4. Darling!

  5. I love the look of peasant tops, but everytime I buy one for Kirsten, the top is way to big. It never fits right. It’s so awesome that you can sew your own. Sadie is so dang cute!

  6. Adorable! (and so is the shirt:-)

  7. So cute;0)
