lunch, anyone?

Since the weather has been so nice lately, Sadie and I have been spending a lot of time at the park for play dates and such. I've taken to bringing her lunch along so that she can eat it while we're there, other wise she falls asleep on the car ride home and doesn't get to eat lunch. No good!

So, I thought, instead of tossing her sandwich, banana, etc., in a ziploc bag every time, might as well lunch in style and be green at the same time! I followed this tutorial, and got the oilcloth from this etsy seller. I just love the print, it makes me smile every time I see it!

The etsy store is called Fabric Farm, and Rory's comment when he saw the return label on the package? "They have a farm that makes fabric?" (said sarcastically, of course)

I shot right back, "I'd totally buy that farm if they had one!"

Wouldn't that be awesome if you could grow fabric on a tree? I'd plant a polka dot tree, a striped tree, a floral tree....ok now I just sound crazy.

That would be awesome though.

that is the cutest little lunch bag. Looks like it was fun to make. Did you use a special teflon foot? Just curious

Nope, no special foot. It sewed nicely with my regular foot, I just took it slower than normal just in case it stuck somewhere...but no problems!
