Diaper bag preparedness

So after hunting high and low for a cute diaper bag that did not have elephants or bears on it, I found a brown vinyl tote with tons of pockets at Ross a few months ago. Problem is, it didn’t come with a changing pad, obviously. I bought a folding one that was supposed to hold diapers and wipes too, but it was hard to wrangle so I don’t like it. To make a long story short, I still don’t have a changing pad I like, but I do have a matching pacifier and diaper pouch! hehe. I had made the pacifier pouch for my etsy store, but decided I liked it too much and took it off. I still had some of the fabric, so I decided to try and make a pouch. My pattern was a bit off, so I had to adjust. That’s why there are teal panels on the edges. It’s not the prettiest, but it works and has lots of room inside! I just have to find a changing pad somewhere. Good luck to me.

The inside, like I said, not the prettiest.

Outside, a bit better.

  1. Fun! I made a diaper carrier for Rayne too because I couldn’t find one that I liked. Mine was a little less than perfect and Chris says to just not say anything and people won’t notice. So just tell them the teal was intentional and it’ll all be a secret. hehe. Except you’ve put it on your blog so…
