I had a hankering to make some more TAP paper tees-and this time with some floral wording!

I usually don’t go for words on shirts, unless it’s star wars, or really cute.

This one has the latter at least!

Charlotte and Sadie are obsessed with the Iggy Azalea I’m So Fancy song (the Kidz Bop version…haha), they sing it randomly during the day and make up new lyrics…anywho, I thought it would make a cute little tee and they would love it.

SPoiler alert: They do love it! I made one for Sadie too but only took pics of Charlotte’s.

I grabbed a tee from Target-this one was long sleeved to start, but since we do SS all year long here, I chopped the sleeves off and added a cuff.

Then I found a floral print I liked online and used it to make the image-in Illustrator it was SO easy!

Here’s the download if you want it!

(use only with TAP paper! written instructions here)

Print, cut out the letters, and arrange on your tee-iron them on and you’re done!

Add a quickly sewn up pair of Go-To Legging (capris) because you can’t post a top without a bottom, and tada!

You’re so FANCY.

  1. How cute!!

How does the tap hold up in the laundry?

    • It does fade a bit but I like how it looks! gives it a vintage feel. and it takes awhile to get that faded. 🙂

  2. I just saw your picture of this project on Instagram. This is adorable! I had never heard of TAP paper, but I may need to get some soon! I was just considering appliqueing an airplane onto a t-shirt for one of my little boys, but using TAP paper maybe more fun and new. Adorable blog!

  3. So cute!!

  4. That’s pretty cute! The floral is a great way to fancy up plain lettering. =)

  5. Wow! I had never heard of TAP paper before but based on this, it’s certainly something I need to find. Very cute!

  6. I ordered some TAP paper as soon as I saw this. I hadn’t heard of it before, but now my head is swimming with ideas to put it to good use! Finally get to make this shirt today, and my little girl will love it…she declares herself “fancy” all the time! Thanks for the free download/printable…combined with my Silhouette Cameo to do the cutting and my heat press to attach it, this might be the fastest project ever!
