Hey guys! I’m really excited to be a part of the Skater Dress Pattern Tour! Amanda (the sewing maven behind Kitschy Coo) has designed probably the most comfortable knit dress Sadie has ever worn, and named it the Skater dress! She loves how comfy and soft it is, and it’s so easy for her to slide over her head and instantly be dressed. I mean, she is almost 5 so she can handle dressing herself, but anything helps those “GETDRESSEDRIGHTNOW” mornings, am I right? 😉
I am in love with that fabric! (from my sponsor Girl Charlee it looks like this one might be out of stock) It’s a drapey but sturdy jersey, and the red ribbed knit is from a tank top from Walmart-it was the perfect match!
The pattern is really well written and the sizing is spot on. I cut out a 3/4T and it’s the perfect fit for my teeny 4.5 year old. A little room to grow, which is great! Anyways…I give this pattern my two thumbs up-loved it!
Oh, and p.s. Did you see the fun post Jessica over at Me Sew Crazy put up yesterday? She had me do some fabric shopping for her, and it was SOO. much. fun.
Adorable. I’ve been thinking about getting this pattern. I’ve even pinned a few designer dresses that I think I can recreate with it. My oldest girl is a bit of a tomboy so it’s hard to find dresses she will wear, but I think I could get her in this one.

Not shockingly, this is my favorite dress on the tour. I alway love your fabric choices and want to cozy up to every knit in your stash(but not in a weird way). This is just lovely.
