…playing around with the backdrop for week 4 of Project Run and Play. Charlotte was having a blast posing for me! Dress tutorial here. She is such a ham! Sadie and I had the photo shoot today, and it went great…I am in love with week 4 look and can’t wait to show you….
…we’re having a blast watching this girl learn new things…like the joys of teething (smirk)…and rolling over! She can roll over to her front now…which threw Rory and I off, because the other two hated being on their tummies and didn’t roll that way (voluntarily) until like 8 or 9 months. (I’m telling you…hated it.)
…using our new system of filling the jar with marbles to reward good behavior (they lose them if they’re naughty). When it gets filled up they get to go on a date with one of us to froyo or pick out a toy. It’s working well so far…as long as the marbles are out of reach. Sadie is a sneaky little gal sometimes…
…enjoying the WARM weather we’ve been having! It was almost 90 degrees the other day. Time to break out the shorts and blind everyone!
…cleaning up the aftermath from Project Run and Play. I am glad the sewing is done, but man I had a BLAST. good thing it’s over and I can clean it up now, cause that carpet is full of thread and scraps. Not that I couldn’t clean while I went, but I got so focused that cleaning was the last thing on my mind. Rory will second that, haha. (now to go mop the floors, clean the bathrooms, and generally de-grime the house.)

I am so glad I’m not the only person whose sewing room looks like a tornado went through it after sewing! Sometimes I truly think I’m the only one who makes a mess! LOL

LOVE that pic of your girlie eating froyo! We do marble jar rewards, too! It’s amazing, it really works miracles, as long as the parents are consistent. LOL Really enjoy your blog, and pics of your sweet girls!

You are my sewing Queen. Your Barbie outfits helped me in the beginning to boost my confidence, and now my daughters closet is bursting with homemade dresses. What are some good tips on buying a serger? I have never used one, and maybe buying my first one ever, and am rather intimidated, any suggestions?
