KCWC-pretty peasant top

Made with the Sweet Dress pattern and fabric from the Go Fly a Kite line (Cream Ice Cream), from Ribbon Retreat.

I made a wide casing around the neck and put in a few button holes for the bias tape to loop through. Once I had it arranged I tacked it down through the casing in the back so it wouldn’t slip out.

tada! (love this fabric!)

No pictures of kiddos in them yet since this was all done pretty last minute before my trip!

  3. Beautiful fabric and I love the bow! What a great idea. I must do this on my next peasant dress. Dangit, it would’ve been perfect for the Snow White one I just finished. Oh well, it’s not like I won’t make another. 🙂

  16. Yep, the fabric is lovely. What a sweet top for Charlotte.

  17. Did you have to modify the cut of the sleeve at all for that pattern? I’ve often thought about leaving out the elastic for the sleeve, but it seems too… puffy. Just curious if you cut it down at all.

  18. Oh, it is so beautiful!

  19. Okay, I LOVE the fabric. I think it’s safer this way…having boys rather than girls; otherwise, I would be sewing all the day long!

  20. Encantadora y fresca…
