puzzle valentines

I spotted these adorable Valentine puzzles at Wally World aka Walmart ($2 for 6) and decided to grab some and make some last minute additions to pass out at our exchange party!

After all, both girls need to hand out different valentines, right? (you all say: “right, Jess! More is always better!”)

So I made some (very rudimentary) labels (which you can download here!), and packaged them up. Of course, I forgot to print off the ones with the girls names on them….oh well. Things tend to fall by the wayside around here when one is caught up in last minute crafting!

I just printed off the labels on white cardstock, cut them to size, then gathered some glue dots, a stapler, and some clear bags that measured 4×6 (which was just what I had on hand).

Then I cut down the bags to be shorter, then stapled them to the back of the label, like so.

Added some glue dots, then squeezed the label together. This way you don’t have ugly staples on the front of your pretty tags!

  8. What a great idea!! Thanks for sharing.

  9. Adorable! If only my daughters weren’t 27 and 32 I’d be making these for their classmates. I must know, however, what is Wally World? I’m afraid that if I drove to California to find out the moose at the gate would tell me they were closed and I’d never know. You’re probably too young to have National Lampoons Vacation dialog memorized but if Wally World really exists or if it’s just a fun shop that we don’t have in the south I headed to California in my metallic pea family truckster immediately.

  10. Such a lovely idea ๐Ÿ™‚ xx
