paperclip fun!

You may have seen these adorable paperclip bookmarks floating around Pinterest lately-that’s where I found them, at least! They are found on this adorable blog (one of my new favorites!), with full instructions for both the hearts and bows. We’re making the heart bookmarks at our Relief Society meeting tonight, which should be quick and easy!

I’m in charge of teaching this little craft to the ladies, so wish me luck that I can explain how to make them well enough. Sadly, I am kind of a dork in real life and am constantly saying the wrong things and such.

Squee! These bows are friggin’ cute.

  1. Holy Cow, those bows are friggin’ cute! Why do I use random scraps of paper when there is cuteness like those to be had?

  7. I made some heart bookmarks like that for my kiddos last Valentines. I love seeing the hearts popping out of their books.

  8. So, so cute. Love the bows, and the varied stitching on the hearts. I’m sure the craft will go over great. Much better than trying to teach them directed really at young mothers. That’s when I think it gets awkward. ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. Jess, I’ve been following your blog for a little while now and you seem like a great communicator to me. ๐Ÿ™‚ What shines through is your wish to share with others things which give you joy and that is always a powerful (and non-dorky) way to relate to people. Enjoy your meeting. ๐Ÿ™‚

  10. Hi Jess! Thanks so much to linking to my posts! I love your bows and hearts – great job! Hope the teaching went well. I turn into a bumbling mess when I try to explain something in person. I need about 2 hours to sit down and write a post and then re-read and re-read it until I am sure I haven’t said something silly. haha! Anyways, thanks again for linking to me. xoxo

  11. How cute! I haven’t seen these on Pinterest, but I do love them! Thanks for sharing!

  12. Adorable!!!

  13. I LOVE the bows. They are too cute!

  14. Oh, I love them! They’re adorable!
Also, I wanted to let you know that I made your “toddler sweatshirt upcycle” – it was one of your first projects that I pinned and I DID IT!
