Check out my guest tutorial today over on Project Run and Play! It’s the start of Cycle 2, and the first week’s theme is Back to School! There are some really adorable outfits over there. Make sure to go vote for your favorite!
I was lucky enough to participate in the last round (well, for one week only, lol), and am so excited to do this guest post for Back to School week, this round! My kiddos aren’t school age yet, but I can definitely appreciate the preppy, fall clothing I always picture when I think of school clothes!
Hope you’re all having a great weekend so far. We’ve got my parents coming over tonight to babysit so it’s date night! woohoo!
I’m in love with the bow pockets as well!!!!! Everything you make is so amazing and inspiring! I’ve been exceedingly scared of garment sewing, but you really make it look doable. Maybe I will have the courage to try this sweet dress for my little twin gals 🙂 Thanks for sharing all your work!
The details are darling. I love the bows on the pockets especially.
This is SO darling! I think I may try to recreate this for my daughter…and maybe myself. I love it!!!
This is so adorable! I love the green and white polka dots with the denim. I was so bummed when you were voted off last year. Your sewing creations are amazing!

Really cute dress- I’m making one now! Did I miss at what point you sew on the sleeves?
Wowwww such a nice n simple dress. Adorable. Love u
Hello!
This is a lovely dress – I’d like to try it for my bub.
Can you tell me why the shape of your sleeve pattern looks so different from the shape of the armhole? How can I go about sketching out my own sleeve pattern?
Many thanks!
