boden knock off-KCWC

My goal is one piece per day for KCWC (not that different from a normal day round these parts, I admit), so I made this cute lil dress yesterday. I am kinda in love with the fabric. More than a normal person loves a fabric is how I feel about this fabric. Ya’ll with me?

I used Vanessa’s awesome tute and template that debuted on this here blog! I loved it-no problems except I cut the pockets at the wrong angle-totally my fault and easy to fix. I added a casing for some 1/4″ elastic above the waistline.

Back to the gorg fabric. It’s called Tea for Two for Windham Fabrics, and I got it from my fabulous new sponsor, Fairytale Frocks and Lollipops! You have GOT to go check out their shop-tons of super cute fabric, notions, books, and awesome patterns also!

Sadie really liked the pockets-especially after she found the candy I stashed there. The things we bloggers do for a decent pic. ๐Ÿ˜€
