it may not look like much, but here is the start of sadie’s play kitchen!

my dad was awesome enough to help me cut and measure and attach wood together this afternoon until we got this! it may not look like much, but i’m soo excited to have this project started. hopefully we can work on it again soon…so it can be done for christmas! i’ll keep ya posted on the progress, un-pretty as it may be.

  1. It’s a good start! I can’t wait to see how it turns out!

  2. Oh how exciting! I was buying a play kitchen for Punky but I’ve ditched that idea & have decided to make one instead.

Downside; won’t be done for her birthday.

Upside; It will be super funky & original so it won’t matter! 😉

  3. I can’t wait to see how it turns out. My boyfriend is a carpenter and I can’t wait till we move out and have kids so he can build them stuff.

  4. Ooh. I am excited for you! My daughter is only 3 months old and I already have this terrible tendency to collect play kitchen things for her. Haha. If you need any extra inspirtation/ instruction while you’re building yours, here’s a link to a play kitchen build along that I found.

I’m excited to see how yours comes out!

  5. Great start! I’m having my dad help me build one for my girls, too (he’s recently retired so I’ve volunteered him to help).
