KCWC: raglan tees

Β

In the interest of stash busting (ya know….because that means I can buy more fabric if I use what I have, right?), I made these two long sleeved raglan tops for the Sadester….seriously they are so fast! The longest part was doing that hedgehog applique. This tee needed a little somethin’ so I decided to “put a hedgehog on it”. (Adrianna‘s instagram words, not mine. πŸ˜‰

Here’s a little download of the pattern I drew up…just make it bigger or smaller as needed on your copy machine.

Hedgehog pattern

I actually wasn’t loving either of these tops when I made them but figured she needed some long sleeved tees so I should use what I had. After taking pics, I like them a lot more for some reason. Late night sewing messes with my brain, I swear!

Β Both main fabrics are from fabric.com awhile ago. The ribbed knit was from walmart a loong time ago.

p.s. I’m not sure if she was doing the chicken dance or something….??

Both of these fabrics are not Sadie’s usual color preference (pink or purple), but she actually wore this one all day after taking pictures! I’m not sure if it’s just that she forgot she was wearing it…but I’ll take it. I lazed out on this one and didn’t hem it…yet. Maybe someday…haha yeah right. Onto the next project!
