KCWC: little vintage dress

This bodice design has been on my mind for like…ever. (and a day) So finally I gave it a go! I love how it turned out, and now I want to make another for Sadie with striped fabric, how fun, right? I may (emphasis on the may) even attempt this as a pattern to sell. Hold the phone, folks. We’ll see how I feel after this next little one makes her appearance. At the very least, I’ll write it up as a sew along tutorial. 🙂
Charlotte loved her new dress, can you tell? Lately, I sew mostly for Sadie, since Charlotte has plenty of hand me downs that are in good shape still, but every girl needs her own new dress once in awhile!
It definitely has some vintage flavor to it…apparently that’s my “thing”. At least that’s what I would guess. I love the lace trim and buttons!
The fabric is from the Flora line by Moda, from the Ribbon Retreat (though it looks like they’re fresh out.)
The back has a little invisible zipper in the back bodice.
Yes she has turned into a Pez monster, too! lol. She got another one earlier in the day for peeing in the potty! Wow. Not quite ready for that yet, but if she wants to train herself, by all means…..
