nursery planning-and a fabric sale!

***See the winner of the Shabby Apple giveaway here!***

So…you might have heard we’re having another girl…and since we don’t have to buy a whole new boy wardrobe*, I told Rory I’m definitely making new stuff for the nursery! It’s nice to not have to paint the room either-and I still love the color, so I’m working with it. (see more pics of the nursery here)

*but of course she will get some mama-made clothes-it’s inevitable!
I decided on a mustard/coral scheme (working with very light teal walls), and so when I found the Mod Basics line from Birch Fabrics, I knew it would be perfect! I’ve worked with organic cotton before, so I know how soft they are-perfect for baby’s room. (click on the pics below to see the page)
I think this one will become a crib sheet!
I’ll make a crib skirt with these adorable elephants! I mean, seriously? dying of cuteness over here.

The rest are some of the fabrics I picked out to make her a quilt-haven’t decided on the pattern yet though!

I got the fabrics I chose from my sponsor, FabricWorm! Right now they’re having a stellar sale on their organic cottons! 30% off!! Guys, that makes these lusciously soft fabrics a steal. Check them out! And hurry, the sale ends Wednesday the 27th at 10 am PST.
