outfit a day

I love the look of headbands…but since I’m pretty sure Sadie and Charlotte’s 90th percentile-sized heads come from me, they’re not always comfortable. The things we women do for fashion eh? Or laziness…because I didn’t want to do my bangs.

Comments

  1. Love the first and second outfits. You are totally styling. 🙂 And I like that you labeled the bandaid.

  2. PS I think I like the blue one better but they’re both awesome! I actually should make one with some green and white striped knit I have sitting around. . . . .

  3. I love seeing this, you have great style and give great ideas!
Please keep the price breakdown, I really need to thrift it more!!
p.s. your idea of doing the girls outfits once in a while is terrific 🙂

  4. great outfits, all around!!

  5. Haha. Love Charlotte’s bandaid. Cutie girl. And in Sadie’s old sweatshirt that you made!

Oh, but your outfits were cute too. 🙂

  6. ha – my oldest daughter is always in the 95th percentile for head size. our pediatrician says it means big brain power 😉

  7. First thing, Charlotte is the cutest thing ever! She is adorable.

I miss seeing all the kids clothes and tutorials, every time I see a new post from you I’m hoping its an awesome creation for one of your darling kids to wear!

I love your blog style though, keeps me coming back every day just for the quirkyness (is that a y or i that should be there?) Keep it up & great job!

  9. I love the price breakdown… your style is so great and it’s a good reminder that it doesn’t take a lot of money to look cute! Your boots are so bitchen. I love them!

  10. hahaha Bandaid. Love it. They are huge in my house, I get asked for “banban”s on a regular basis.

Your outfits are too cute, and I love the price breakdown!

  11. The bandaid is my favorite accessory. I wish I looked half as cute as you in those outfits!

  12. Love these posts the way they are. It reminds me to take something I already have and find a new way of wearing it.
Love the price break down, it is nice to see how cheap it really is to look cute.

  13. Love these posts, as always! And I say yes to the cost breakdown. It reminds me that a few dollars here and there can go a long way in making a cute outfit.

  14. LOVE the red skirt outfit! I normally only do the designer-thrift stores where they don’t let out of date stuff through the doors, but assuming you are going to regular thrift stores – you are inspiring me to dig through the clothing again! Cute stuff. Also, price breakdown – I go back and forth on my What I Wore Wednesdays, too. I’ve been leaving it out, but reading yours today, was thinking I should put it back in – it is helpful and doesn’t take up much space! =)

  15. Omigosh I just bought that Riley Blake fabric yesterday! Funny. Love your outfits, I’m neutral on the prices. They make me jealous that you find such great deals, but if you didn’t say them I wouldn’t mind either. Whatever’s easier for you. 🙂

  16. I like the third and the sixth the best! Since I saw the red skirt yesterday, I’ve been thinking I need one, maybe? Yes, yes I do.

  17. I went to the link to find the tutorial for that striped cardy, but it’s not really a full tutorial! I NEED a tutorial!!! I NEED to make these!!! Can you help a girl out?? Pretty please? Did she end up posting a full tute? Did you? 🙂

  18. Oops, I forgot to include my email in case you respond to me! 😀

Btw, love your outfits of the week posts, I would love to see little girl ones too, and I love that you post prices! Just to answer YOUR questions! 😉

  19. I love the look of headbands too but sadly they do not love the look of me (I’ve yet to find one that actually looks good on me…).
And that last picture completely cracked me up. I love the bandaid! little Charlotte sure knows how to accessorize 🙂

  20. Just found your blog. I like the price points. Gives a good idea on the cost of each item. You are very creative and I can’t wait to sit down and read more of your blog! Keep it up 🙂

  21. Wish you were my next door neighbor! We’d be great friends! Guess the blog will have to do. 🙂 Thanks for sharing your tutorials and talents!

  22. hi there –

Do you mind if I pin some of your ensembles to a board I have called “Frocks”?

I am trying to lose some lbs and the thought of wearing cute outfits is a big motivator.
