Back around Christmas time (in between Christmas and New Years) we were all sick with the flu. ๐ This is the one thing I was able to sew that week, and only because it was SO easy. I used Dana’s tutorial, which is great. I’ve used it before, but only for the girls.
I love how it drapes! I think it was a rayon knit from Fabric.com, but I can’t find it on the site anymore. boo. Sorry. Getting the elastic from my cousin in law Courtenay made this dress about $10 to make. I didn’t hem the bottom because…did I mention the flu? ๐
What a fun skirt! I’m addicted to circle skirts. I’ve made at least ten. ๐
super!
So lovely. Think I need to make one of these!
It looks fabr! I love the top with it too!
Wow, lovely! A circle skirt has been on my sewing list for a while – you’ve motivated me to get busy and actually make one.
Love it! I also love your shoes. Where did you find those???
Super cute, Jess. I like the way it drapes too. I am definitely in need of some new skirts. Maybe I’ll have to finally try this. ๐
Very, very cute! I’m going to need to check out that tutorial!
That’s a pretty skirt. I love that fabric!
Was just going to look for a circle skirt pattern. Thanks! This came out precious!
Thats a really lovely shaped skirt… indeed a lovely drape on the fabric. And hero points for sewing with flu! ๐
Love the skirt! Been shopping for one for a long time – now I will be making one! Thanks for sharing this!
