My good friend Anna came out with another fabulous bag pattern- the Go Anywhere Bag!
I’m sure you guys have seen the other amazing versions she and her pattern testers have made. I had to make one for myself, of course. I LOVE Anna’s patterns, and this one looked big enough, for me, to get the job done. (I’m somewhat of a Boy Scout when it comes to my diaper bag. I like to “be prepared” for anything…even though I haven’t changed a diaper on the go in months….or used much of my plentiful stock of princess band aids)
She suggests home dec weight fabric, so off I went to Etsy to find some cute stuff. I found this gorgeous fabric by Denyse Schmidt. The grey floral is Posie in Slate, and the yellow scallops is Scallop Stripe in Ginger. Both from her County Fair line. I got them from this shop, for a screaming deal. ($7/yard. sah-weet!)
My aqua dot lining is from the Lecien line.
I absolutely love all the pockets (there’s one inside the bag too) and the piping on the pockets. Adorable! I wonder if I should have used the aqua dots on the outside instead of the yellow scallops…oh well! Too late now, and I still love it. I apparently should not wait til the last moment to insert magnetic snaps though, they’re totally off!
I should really learn to measure better.
All in all, another great pattern from Anna, and a sturdy tote with tons of room for my over the top preparedness tendencies. Win-win!
It’s so pretty! Want want want! 😉
