has YOUR craftiness not been optional?

Or, in other words, what have you guys been up to? I absolutely LOVE seeing new projects pop up in the flickr group, so keep them coming!
Or not…. they just totally validate all the hours spent on my blog….no pressure though…. ;-D
Here are some projects that have caught my eye lately!
This adorable pretty easy sundress. I loove that fabric. 🙂

How cute is this swiss dot? I adore those button flowers too. Made with my Anthro knock off tute.
My good pal Gwen made this grocery bag holder with some seriously awesome fabric.
An adorable Playdate dress! Will be so cute to wear, with Halloween coming up!

Another adorable Playdate dress, this time with a woven cotton bottom. Fab flowers too!

I love the fabric used on this Barbie dress!

Ok, yeah, this tie appliqued Bapron is so, so cool. If I ever have a boy, he’s  getting one!
I also love the pocket added to this Bapron. Edged with ric rac? Even better.
and I can’t get enough of this elephant fabric. It is too. cool!

Check out this super cute Vintage Feedsack dress. Of course, love the red, and what a cutie wearing it!
Speaking of cuties….aww!! I don’t know what’s cuter, her Ice Cream Social dress, or that sweet smile. I adore the tie she added, too!

Last but not least, a groovy Leah tunic, made with a vintage sheet.  Love the pop of teal!
I seriously wish I could spotlight all of the great projects over there, but there are too many! So make sure to check them out if you’ve got a moment. Thanks everyone!

  1. oh – those are all so charming! I have the pattern pieces cut out for a pillow and an apron. I also have the frabric set aside for a bag, but I need to alter the pattern.

And I need to get me some tailor’s chalk, because the fabric the pillow is being made from is a dark dark dark irish wool. And I can’t see the lines I need to draw on it.

I’ll be putting off sewing until next weekend though, because on Saturday I’m rearranging the craft room! Amen! 🙂

  2. Oh I love every project shown here! Stunning! 🙂

  3. Eeeek! Those dresses are too cute!

  4. Cute! Cute! Cute! Love all the projects you have highlighted. I’ve also been a busy girl following your tutorials. I have made a new ironing board cover and 2 of the Junebug dresses. I’ve uploaded pictures of the dresses to the Flickr group. You make ME look like a superstar seamstress because YOUR tutorials are so fantastic and easy to follow. Can’t thank you enough for all your hard work. It’s appreciated more than you know! I hope to be able to keep up with the new sew-a-long you have starting Monday (working full time always seems to get in the way!). Now, until then, off to choose the next project from one of your previously posted tuts!

  5. every single one these are beautiful! Great projects!!

  6. I was just doing my weekly “craft blog check” and saw that one of the projects you had here was the bapron I made with the ric rac pocket! It made me happy! I’m glad someone noticed something I made! Thanks for showing it!
