meat and potatoes tutorial

Winner winner chicken dinner!
Here’s how I made this cute felt chicken dinner.

Click below for more!

you’ll need:
tan felt
dark brown felt
white felt
poly fil or felt scraps
matching thread, sewing stuff.
Print out your pattern and cut the pieces.
Line up each bone piece with each meat piece like so, and sew together with a 1/4″ seam.
 Like this!
Then, right sides together, pin and sew around with 1/8″ seam, leaving about 1 1/2″ open to turn.
Take your two potato pieces and sew them RST as well, leaving a space to turn.
For the potato skin-take two of your dark brown pieces and iron them in half. Then, layer those two pieces on top of the other one…
like this. And sew around that with 1/8″ seam.
Turn them all right sides out.
stuff the chicken and potato with poly fil…
then slip stitch the opening shut.
stick your potato in it’s skin-and you’re in business!
and why not add some broccoli to round out the meal? yum!
